Job Title: Humanities Teacher for SEMH Students
About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Humanities Teacher to join our specialist SEN school in Guildford, Surrey. As a Humanities Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and adaptive lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver creative Humanities lessons that promote student engagement and support individual learning profiles.
- Collaborate closely with the SEN team to manage challenging behaviours and implement strategies that foster trust and growth.
- Modify the curriculum to suit individual learning needs and develop personalized education plans.
Requirements:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent qualification, with experience teaching Humanities at KS3 and/or KS4.
- Experience working in SEN settings, particularly with students who have SEMH or behavioural needs.
