Job Title: Lead Teacher for SEMH and ASC Students

We are seeking a dedicated and inspiring leader to join our team as Lead Teacher for SEMH and ASC students.

About the School:

This specialist school provides a safe and nurturing environment for young people aged 11-19 with SEMH needs and ASC. Our tailored, person-centred approach empowers students to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

  • Support and motivate staff and pupils through a person-centred approach.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Ofsted requirements, using this expertise to support the school in moving towards an outstanding rating.
  • Develop creative strategies for delivering the National Curriculum, tailored to meet the needs of pupils with SEMH and ASC.
  • Oversee the school's compliance with the latest Ofsted Education Inspection Framework and Independent School Standards.
  • Promote a safe, nurturing environment that supports pupils with trauma, attachment issues, and associated challenging behaviours.
  • Skilled at motivating, driving, and supporting both staff and pupils.
  • Knowledgeable about the unique challenges of working with young people with SEMH, ASC, and additional needs.
  • Experienced in leading a school through Ofsted inspections, with a solid understanding of the Independent School Standards.
  • An empathetic and committed professional with the ability to inspire and foster a positive school culture.

Salary Range: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
