About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Credit Controller to join our Finance team at Fresh Direct. As a Credit Controller, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business by managing our credit risk and debt recovery processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain strong relationships with our customers.
- Work closely with our sales and divisional finance teams to ensure a balanced approach to customer relationships and credit risk management.
- Collaborate with the Credit Manager to achieve targets and drive business growth.
- Manage overdue debt and maximize cash flow in line with targets.
- Review and improve processes within the Department to minimize bad debt and maximize cash flow.
- Work with internal functions to identify and resolve process issues.
- Visit customers to resolve issues and minimize bad debt risk.
- Utilize external credit rating agency tools to minimize bad debt risk.
- Maintain customer accounts within agreed terms and credit limits.
- Manage the debt recovery process for the business.
- Ensure timely provision of regular management reports and ad-hoc information.
About You:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Credit Controller who has a strong background in credit control and debt recovery. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also have intermediate Excel skills and be able to take ownership of your performance and identify areas for improvement.
