Credit Controller

We are seeking a skilled Credit Controller to join our finance team at Ainscough Crane Hire. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in achieving settlement of sales invoices within payment terms.
Key Responsibilities:- Liaise with clients' Accounts Payable and Sub Contract Accounts to ensure timely payment.
- Run credit checks and update client records to accurately reflect credit limits.
- Identify and mitigate credit risk.
- Meet KPI cash collection targets and Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) metrics.
- Agree customer orders on accounts with credit limits.
- Proven experience in a fast-paced credit control environment.
- Pleasant telephone manner and ability to build professional relationships.
- Experience with credit insurance is desirable.
- Proficiency in Excel.
