SEN HLTA - Specialist Unit (KS1 & KS2)

We are seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) with a Level 4 qualification to join our specialist unit in Greenwich. As an SEN HLTA, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and contributing to a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the SEN Teacher in planning and delivering differentiated lessons, ensuring the needs of each child are met.
  • Assist with the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and help monitor and assess student progress.
  • Provide 1:1 or small group support, adapting resources and strategies to suit different learning styles and needs.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive environment that promotes the social, emotional, and academic development of all students.
  • Collaborate with the SEN team to ensure effective support for children with a range of needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, and other learning difficulties.
