Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our Community CAMHS team as a Transformation Unit CAMHS Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate professional to work with children, young people, and their families in a supportive and dynamic environment.

The successful candidate will have experience working with diverse populations, including those with Autism and/or Learning Disabilities. They will be required to deliver evidence-based interventions, focusing on CYP-IAPT care principles, while obtaining a Post Graduate Diploma in Children and Young Peoples Increasing Access to Psychological Services (CYP-IAPT).

Main Responsibilities
  • Work within the Community CAMHS team, providing interventions to children and young people from various backgrounds.
  • Undertake training at university to support practice, focusing on CYP-IAPT care principles and evidence-based interventions.
  • Develop skills to provide culturally competent services and adapt interventions to meet the needs of diverse clients.
Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate who possesses:

  • Degree-level qualification in psychology or a related field.
  • Qualifications demonstrating capacity to complete academic work at postgraduate level.
  • Experience working with children, young people, and families in a paid role for a minimum of 2 years.
  • Knowledge of communities and diversity in Hackney, London.
  • A commitment to continuing professional development and flexible approach to work.
