About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HLTA to join our team at a Specialist school for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The successful candidate will have experience in SEMH and SEND support and will be responsible for supporting pupils in developing their day-to-day and academic skills, as well as their social emotional needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting pupils with SEMH needs in developing their day-to-day and academic skills
  • Providing interventions and cover classes across the school
  • Working with teachers to develop learning activities and provide support to pupils
  • Contributing to a nurturing and supportive learning environment
