At Adecco, we are seeking a skilled Collections Agent to join our dynamic team. As a Collections Agent, you will be responsible for processing inbound calls, collecting overdue debts, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process inbound calls and respond to customer inquiries
  • Collect overdue debts and negotiate payment arrangements
  • Identify instances of vulnerability and take appropriate actions
  • Liaise with other departments and field staff as necessary
  • Conduct outbound calls to customers
  • Update systems with accurate call notes and complete associated actions
  • Handle account queries and verbal complaints, escalating complex cases to senior staff
  • Follow established collections processes and procedures

Requirements:

  • Firm and polite telephone manner
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to deal with customers professionally, calmly, and tactfully
  • Strict confidentiality and non-discriminatory work approach
  • Previous call centre experience
