- Identify instances of vulnerability and take appropriate actions to ensure compliance with client criteria.
- Liaise with other departments and field staff as necessary to resolve customer issues.
- Conduct outbound calls to customers to collect debts and resolve issues.
- Update system records with accurate call notes and complete associated actions.
- Handle account queries and verbal complaints, escalating complex cases to senior staff as needed.
- Follow established collections processes and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Firm and polite telephone manner with excellent communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with procedures.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
- Ability to deal with customers professionally, calmly, and tactfully, even in challenging situations.
- Strict confidentiality and non-discriminatory work approach to maintain a positive and respectful work environment.
- Previous call centre experience, preferably in a collections or customer service role.
