Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Contract Specialist to join our team at Raytheon Technologies. As a key member of our Commercial team, you will be responsible for managing commercial relationships with our customers, developing customer engagement strategies, and leading negotiations to drive innovative solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Respond to simple RFQs for standard equipment and services.
  • Support the Commercial team in preparing responses to more complex Requests for Proposal/ITT/PQQs.
  • Implement and manage standard agreements, such as NDA and template contracts.
  • Provide support to Programme and Business Development teams throughout the prospecting and bidding process.
  • Support the business finance function to manage the invoicing and cash collection process.
  • Participate in cross-functional improvement activities.
  • Complete all commercial functional requirements from cradle-to-grave on supply contracts.
  • Understand export controls and other compliance requirements, including GDPR and Government classifications.
  • Work with the business teams to meet central targets and local challenges.
  • Understand the policy requirements for the gate process and provide input to gate packs.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to respond to tasks with tenacity and flexibility, while working cross-functionally in a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and collaborate with others.
  • Eye for detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of Contract Management and Procurement principles.
  • Self-motivation and independent working.
  • Ability to travel occasionally within the UK.
