Staff Partners Business is seeking a highly skilled Sterile Services Technician to join our team in Kettering. As a key member of our sterile services department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

We are offering a competitive salary of £30,000 - £33,000 per annum, based on 40 hours/week, with a temporary contract for Saturday and Sunday shifts from 8 AM - 6 PM.

About the Role:
  1. Operate and Maintain Equipment: Utilize sterilization equipment according to established protocols and procedures, maintaining optimal results.
  2. Prepare and Package Instruments: Ensure instruments, equipment, and supplies meet quality standards before sterilization.
  3. Monitor and Record Cycles: Accurately record sterilization cycles, including time, temperature, and pressure.
  4. Inspect Instruments: Maintain high standards of quality control by inspecting instruments and equipment for cleanliness and functionality.
  5. Record Activities and Inventory: Maintain accurate records of sterilization activities and inventory levels, facilitating efficient operations.
  6. Follow Infection Control Guidelines: Prioritize employee safety and well-being by following infection control guidelines and maintaining a clean work area.
  7. Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Uphold the highest standards of patient care by collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure proper sterilization practices.
