About the Role

Vine Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fundraising and Outreach Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective fundraising strategies, crafting grant applications, and marketing the work of Vine Trust to volunteers, supporters, and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in securing funds through grants, corporate sponsorships, and events, as well as building strong relationships with donors and stakeholders. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with Vine Trust's diverse stakeholders.

The role will involve identifying and cultivating relationships with potential donors, corporate sponsors, trusts, and foundations, as well as preparing compelling grant applications and managing fundraising campaigns. The successful candidate will also be responsible for creating and executing marketing campaigns to promote volunteer opportunities, utilizing digital marketing, social media, email campaigns, and traditional media.

Vine Trust is an international development charity that collaborates through partnership projects to bring about impactful and sustainable change for families and communities in Peru and Tanzania. The successful candidate will be working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of people around the world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective fundraising strategies
  • Craft grant applications and manage fundraising campaigns
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors and stakeholders
  • Create and execute marketing campaigns to promote volunteer opportunities
  • Collaborate with colleagues and overseas partners to develop and maintain engaging content for the Trust's Connections magazine, website, and social media platforms
  • Ensure quality control of all fundraising and marketing materials
  • Monitor and analyse fundraising and marketing data to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and identify areas for improvement

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in successful fundraising, grant writing, and marketing through digital and traditional channels
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Knowledge and experience of using MS Office
  • Educated to graduate level or relevant experience in a similar field
  • At least 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Experience working in cross-cultural projects/activities
  • Full driving licence and access to a car
