Chief Fundraising Officer

As a key member of the Senior Management Team, the Chief Fundraising Officer will lead an ambitious fundraising strategy, ensuring that all fundraising activity aligns with the Festival's core organisational mission and values.

Reporting to the Festival Director, this role will oversee a team of five fundraisers responsible for bringing in significant income, crucial in ensuring the Book Festival's ongoing success and ability to meet its targets and goals.

The Director of Development and Partnerships will personally manage a small high-value portfolio of funding relationships across all income streams and will have significant opportunity to develop new income streams, including legacies and US fundraising, as well as continuing the growth of the existing areas of income.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in fundraising, excellent leadership and management skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
