About the Role

Mercy Corps is seeking a highly skilled Senior Individual Giving Officer to join our team in London, Edinburgh, or remotely. As a key member of our Direct Marketing and Development team, you will be responsible for devising and implementing a digital strategy to maximize supporter engagement and acquisition, driving individual giving income growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on integrating online and offline fundraising, offering supporters a seamless cross-platform experience
  • Develop and implement innovative digital fundraising campaigns, leveraging social media, email, and other channels to engage and acquire new supporters
  • Work closely with the Individual Giving Officer to innovate and refine our fundraising offerings, identifying new opportunities to grow income and engagement
  • Manage and optimize digital campaigns, including email, PPC, social, programmatic, and display, to deliver against set targets
  • Develop and edit digital fundraising content, ensuring consistency with Mercy Corps branding and style guidelines
  • Review and analyze results of fundraising activities, making data-driven decisions to inform future work
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest digital fundraising trends and best practices, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and growth
Requirements
  • At least five years of experience in a fundraising/marketing role, with a proven track record in digital fundraising
  • Demonstrable knowledge of a range of digital fundraising channels, including social media, email, and online advertising
  • Experience of writing and editing engaging content for online donor audiences
  • Ability to work to brand and style guidelines, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creative storytelling
  • Relevant professional certifications or equivalent experience
