Support Worker for Individuals with Autism

About the Role
We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team at Southhouse Autism Unit, where you will be working with a charismatic group of supported people.
As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for supporting individuals with autism to live their best lives, promoting their independence, and encouraging their participation in activities.
You will work as part of an effective and efficient team to provide individual care and maintain appropriate relationships with our supported people.
Main Duties
- Work with colleagues to support vulnerable people.
- Communicate and work well with our supported people to provide individual care.
- Be responsible for supporting individuals throughout activities, giving positive feedback and encouragement.
About You
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about supporting people to live their best lives and has a passion for delivering high-quality care.
You will be responsible for working with colleagues as part of an effective and efficient team to support vulnerable people.
What We Offer
- Up to 36 days paid holiday per year pro rata.
- 4% Contributory pension scheme.
- Cycle to Work Scheme.
- Fully funded PVG & 1st year SSSC registration paid by Ark.
