About the Role:

We are seeking an exceptional Fundraising Manager to join our team at Waverley Care, specializing in individual giving and legacies, with a secondary focus on philanthropic giving. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will be responsible for delivering individual giving campaigns and expanding our income streams.

About Waverley Care:

Waverley Care is Scotland's leading HIV and hepatitis C charity, dedicated to providing care and support to those impacted by these conditions. Our mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of our clients and to ensure that everyone has access to the care and support they need.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead individual giving campaigns to grow our income streams
  • Develop and implement strategies to engage major donors and legacy givers
  • Provide an excellent supporter journey, applying gold standard stewardship principles
  • Work closely with the fundraising team to achieve our fundraising goals
  • Line manage a team of fundraisers, providing guidance and support to ensure success

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in delivering individual giving campaigns and managing a team of fundraisers
  • Strong knowledge of fundraising principles and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Commitment to our charity's values and mission
