About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Fundraising Leader to join our Senior Management Team at the Edinburgh International Book Festival.

As a key member of the team, you will lead our ambitious fundraising strategy, ensuring that all fundraising activity aligns with our core organisational mission and values.

You will oversee a team of five fundraisers responsible for bringing in significant income, and personally manage a small high-value portfolio of funding relationships across all income streams.

Key responsibilities will include developing new income streams, including legacies and US fundraising, as well as continuing the growth of our existing areas of income.

Key Requirements

  • Proven track record of successful fundraising and leadership experience
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
