Loughborough University is seeking a skilled Strategic Planning and Governance Officer to join its Vice Chancellor's Office.

About the Role

As a dedicated professional, you will provide governance support for senior University committees, Project Management Boards, and working groups. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of high-quality agendas, minutes, and reports for senior governance groups.
  • Providing expert advice on governance procedures to senior managers and lay members.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and project progress.

The successful candidate will hold a degree and/or demonstrate equivalent experience in providing governance support for complex committees at an organisational level. You will have strong communication skills, with the ability to draft detailed reports and minutes, and manage and prioritise a diverse workload independently.

We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a generous leave allowance, pension schemes, and opportunities for professional development.
