Description
Our client is seeking a reliable and organized Payroll Officer to join their team in the Burnley area. In this role, you will be responsible for processing weekly and monthly payrolls, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. You will also provide cover for other payrolls, prepare staff costs budgets, and process holiday forms and payroll amendments.
As a Payroll Officer, you will have extensive knowledge of payroll procedures, including importing timesheets, inputting amendments, and calculating holiday pay. Strong communication skills are also essential for answering phone queries and dealing with wage issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process weekly and monthly payrolls from start to finish.
- Provide cover for other payrolls as required.
- Prepare depots staff costs budgets each year.
- Process holiday forms and payroll amendments.
- Scan and attach documents into the payroll system.
- Assist with processing pensions for the group.
