Overview:

Lancashire County Council's Payroll Services is responsible for providing payroll services to various clients, including schools, district councils, academies, and multi-academy trust clients. As a Senior Payroll Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the efficient administration of payroll and pensions functions in accordance with statutory, legislative, and contractual obligations.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the Payroll Team in processing payroll and pensions
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in processing payroll and pensions
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve monthly performance targets
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

In return for your hard work and dedication, you will receive a salary of £27,269 - £31,067 Per annum. Additionally, you will have access to a range of benefits, including training and development opportunities, 26 days annual leave entitlement (rising to 32 after five years' continuous service), and the Local Government Pension Scheme with a generous employer contribution.
