Compassionate Care Professional

This is a part-time opportunity to support a young man with special needs, autism and limited mobility in his own home in the Driffield area. The role involves providing personal care assistance, supporting him with daily activities, and ensuring his safety and well-being.
About the ClientOur client enjoys cooking, baking, crafts, drawing, board games, pool, riding out on his scooter, photography, animals, wildlife, shopping and collecting Marvel and DC memorabilia. He requires some personal care but does not need assistance with moving or handling.
The RoleWe are seeking a caring and patient individual to join our team as a part-time personal care assistant. The successful candidate will be required to work on Mondays and Fridays, 6 hours each day, with flexibility to cover additional shifts when needed.
Key Responsibilities:- Supporting the client with meal preparation, loading and unloading his scooter into the van
- Assisting with cleaning and tidying living spaces, bed changes and sanitizing areas
- Ensuring the client's safety and well-being when out and about
- Creating engaging activities within the client's ability range to make his life fun and interesting
We offer a competitive salary of £18-22 per hour, depending on experience, plus benefits and a supportive working environment.
RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must have excellent communication skills, a compassionate nature, and the ability to work independently. You should also be flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances.
