Lead SEN Coordination Specialist

Teaching Personnel is seeking an experienced and passionate SEN Coordinator to join our dedicated team at an outstanding Primary school in London.
Key Responsibilities:
- To play a pivotal role in ensuring the accelerated progress of pupils with additional needs, achieving their full potential.
- To provide high-quality, sustained teaching and intervention support tailored to individual needs.
- To contribute to the School Leadership Team, driving strategic development and direction aligned with the Academy Improvement Plan.
- To lead and support the provision for pupils with SEND, analysing data to inform future planning.
- To collaborate with staff to maintain a high standard of provision for pupils with SEND.
- To assist the SLT in undertaking delegated professional duties.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status
- National Award for SEN Coordination
- Evidence of ongoing professional development, with clear impact indicators
- Commitment to continuing professional development
- Experience of successful leadership and management within a school
- Proven track record of achieving outstanding pupil progress
- Ability to contribute to professional leadership and management of a staff team
- Experience of using data and data analysis to drive up standards
- Clear knowledge and experience in all issues relating to the safeguarding of children
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the needs of children with SEND and be able to provide effective leadership and guidance to support staff. We offer a competitive salary range of £40,266-£51,788 + SEN Allowance, as well as opportunities for ongoing professional development.
