Description

Aldridge Education is seeking a highly skilled and experienced SENCO to join our team in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our SEN provision, working closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to identify and support students with special educational needs.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the SEN department, developing and implementing policies and procedures for SEN provision
  • Coordinate staff training and development, ensuring that all staff have the necessary skills and knowledge to support students with SEN
  • Work with teachers and support staff to identify and support students with SEN, ensuring that all legal and statutory requirements are met
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of SEN provision, making recommendations for improvement
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • First Degree
  • Experience of Special Education Needs within secondary education
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
