Job Title: Student Conduct Officer

Location: Flexible remote working

Hours: 35 hours per week

Contract: Temporary for 9 months

Pay: £26.92p/h + holiday pay.

TPP Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Student Conduct Officer to join our client, a leading higher education institution in the UK.

You will be responsible for managing and resolving student complaints and misconduct cases, ensuring compliance with the university's policies and procedures. Reporting to the Head of Legal Services, you will conduct thorough investigations and provide recommendations to ensure a fair and efficient process.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of student complaints and misconduct cases, ensuring compliance with university procedures and regulations.
  • Provide guidance and support to colleagues handling complex and sensitive cases.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of revised processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate records for monitoring, audit purposes, and identify trends for improvement.
  • Act as a senior point of contact for students, staff, and external parties involved in casework.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with regulations and procedures related to complaints and disciplinary processes in higher education.
  • Strong understanding of OIA cases.
  • Experience in risk assessment and management.
  • Strong understanding of legislation related to data protection, confidentiality, and equality.
