Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the comprehensive enrolment procedure, ensuring accurate data collection, application of appropriate funding waivers, and processing payments from students when necessary.
  • Conduct thorough eligibility assessments for students prior to their enrolment.
  • Stay informed on the latest ESFA funding regulations, including eligibility criteria and funding waivers, and provide essential training to team members.
  • Assist the Enrolments and Exams Manager in maintaining the integrity of student data input and funding compliance, addressing ILR data validation issues and audit inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with audit requirements regarding enrolment documentation, including timely signed learning agreements.
  • Facilitate and train staff on managing student data transfers between courses or study programs, as well as handling withdrawals when necessary.
  • Manage the enrolment call queue, ensuring calls are appropriately assigned, answered, and followed up in a timely manner.
  • Ensure prompt registration of all learners enrolled in employability programs with the relevant awarding bodies.
  • Play a pivotal role in College enrolment events, contributing to planning and training efforts, while ensuring accurate data collection in compliance with GDPR.

Qualifications:

  • Level 2 (or equivalent) qualifications in English and Mathematics.
  • Experience with both manual and electronic data recording systems.
  • Familiarity with funding regulations in Further Education.
  • Administrative experience in a dynamic office environment, along with frontline customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with advanced data record systems.
  • Understanding of ESFA funding policies and regulations.
  • In-depth knowledge of eligibility criteria for learners in Further Education.
  • Willingness to participate in College events, including open evenings, outside of standard working hours.
