Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant in Haematology to join our team at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert medical care to patients with haematological malignancies.

Main Duties

The Consultant will work closely with our team of scientists and technical staff to support the diagnosis and management of haematological malignancies. The service works closely with the East Genomic Laboratory Hub on site at Cambridge University Hospitals. Strong links also exist with the multiple Cambridge University research groups working on haematological malignancies.

Requirements

  • Competence in reporting bone marrow morphology
  • Experience of other multimodality haematopathology testing including molecular assays
  • Full registration with the GMC and ideally a CCT in Haematology or within six months of award of CCT at the time of interview
