Staff Nurse Band 6 Job Opportunity

We are pleased to offer the chance to work in our dynamic Pre-operative Assessment Department at Salford Royal Hospital, as part of the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust.

As a competent registered nurse, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive anaesthetic assessments of patients' suitability for surgery, in accordance with Trust standards and protocols.

Main Responsibilities

You will be expected to manage your patient workload each day, referring patients for ongoing investigations, back to General Practitioner for further Consultant Anaesthetic review, or passing fit to proceed to surgery.

While previous experience is an advantage, supportive colleagues will provide training and guidance for you to develop the important assessment skills required for this role.
