Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Senior Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Nurse Specialist to join their dedicated team at Salford Care Organisation.

The successful candidate will have a strong passion for delivering high-quality patient care and experience in managing complex IBD cases. As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, they will be responsible for assessing patients, initiating treatment plans, and monitoring disease progression.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Managing IBD patients on biologic treatments according to national and local guidelines.
  • Working collaboratively with clinical colleagues to provide expert care, support, and treatment to patients.
  • Coodinating investigations, treatment, monitoring, and review of patients with unstable or complex disease.

Requirements:

  • A current NMC PIN to practice as a Registered Nurse or Midwife in the UK, or nearing completion within 2-3 months.
  • Degree in nursing or equivalent portfolio of evidence, preferably with senior-level experience.
  • Possession of a prescribing qualification (Nurse Independent) for Band 7 positions.
  • Previous Specialist Nurse/ Band 6 or 7 experience.

Estimated Salary: £42,648 per annum (£37,890 - £44,742), depending on experience and qualifications.
