Job Summary

As a Clinical Specialist Nurse in Interventional Radiology, you will be part of the expanding Interventional Radiology Nursing Team at the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust. Your primary role will be to support the newly created Radiology Day Case Unit, specializing in providing a dedicated pre and post-procedure recovery area for patients as part of the Targeted Lung Health Check programme.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Provide daily nursing advice and support to the radiology department, assisting radiologists and radiographers with various specialized procedures.
  2. Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients during highly specialized procedures.
  3. Admit, recover, and discharge patients to the radiology day case unit.
  4. Assist radiologists during highly specialized interventional procedures.

Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must have a current NMC PIN to practice as a Registered Nurse or Midwife in the UK or be currently enrolled in a course that will result in receiving your full NMC Pin within the next 2-3 months.
