We are seeking a highly skilled Media Sales Specialist to join our team at Bauer Media Group. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing all audio airtime campaigns across a portfolio of key London media agencies.
Your primary objective will be to ensure that we continue to uphold our reputation in the market for delivering exceptional customer service. This will involve efficiently managing airtime planning requests, utilizing your knowledge and insight to provide the best sales solutions, and driving further revenues alongside the sales teams.
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as a positive attitude and enthusiasm for media sales and Bauer brands. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a team environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Key responsibilities will include planning, booking, and ongoing administration of all radio airtime campaigns, ensuring they adhere to all parameters within your agency deal(s) and are sold in line with inventory targets. You will also be responsible for keeping up to date with national agency and client spend, as well as potential revenue, and assisting your Account Manager/Director with reporting and producing and presenting Post Campaign Analysis for applicable clients.
Additionally, you will be expected to maximize agency expenditure by questioning all briefs and providing creative and insightful responses in line with their campaign objectives, supported by insight and research. You will also be responsible for following up all proposals with excellent negotiation skills to ensure that opportunities are maximized for both the agency and the Bauer portfolio.
Other key responsibilities will include driving key focus areas and sales initiatives across the radio team to achieve and exceed set revenue targets, delivering exceptional customer service through the efficient and accurate turnaround of campaigns, and providing your agency with competitor reports, programming updates, RAJAR figures, and any ad-hoc requests.
