About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Healthcare Support Worker at Acer Mews care home in Ashton-under-Lyne. As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting adults living with complex care needs to live their best lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support individuals with their personal care needs, promoting dignity and respect at all times.
  • Assist with meal times, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
  • Understand and respond to individual health and wellbeing needs, providing person-centred care.
  • Encourage and support individuals to participate in social activities, both within and outside the home.
  • Promote choice, dignity, independence, and respect, empowering individuals to make informed decisions.
  • Complete and maintain accurate care records, ensuring seamless communication with colleagues and healthcare professionals.
