Job Summary

Apollo Home Healthcare Ltd is seeking an experienced and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users in their own homes.

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and caring individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional care and making a positive impact on people's lives. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be responsible for providing personal care, repositioning, and attending to the clinical needs of our service users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Reposition and move service users safely and efficiently
  • Administer medication and manage medical equipment
  • Monitor and record service users' conditions and report any changes to the care team
  • Build positive relationships with service users and their families

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

3 months previous care experiencePersonal CareMoving and HandlingMedication Administration

Desirable Skills

Experience working with the following clinical needs is desirable:

Epilepsy ManagementNebuliser careVentilation managementGastrostomy feeds (PEG)

Working Hours

We have the following shifts available:

Part Time Nights available 2 shifts per week7:00pm - 7:00amAlternate weekends are needed for this position

Pay and Benefits

We offer competitive pay rates and a range of benefits, including:

Weeknights: £13.50 per hour (Approx. £162 per 12-hour shift)Weekends: £14.00 per hour (Approx. £168 per 12-hour shift)Bank Holiday: £17.00ph (Approx. £204 per 12-hour shift)
