Job Title: Healthcare Assistant

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Apollo Home Healthcare. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users in their own homes.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personal care, social support, and domestic assistance to our service users, while adhering to their individual care and support plans. You will work independently in the home of the service user, providing care and support in a professional, discreet, and caring manner, always ensuring the service user's right to privacy and dignity is maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Assisting with medication administration
  • Supporting with mobility and transfers
  • Providing social support and companionship
  • Assisting with domestic tasks, such as laundry and meal preparation
Requirements:
  • 3 months previous care experience
  • Personal Care
  • Moving and Handling
  • Medication Administration

Please note that our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.

We have the following shifts available:

  • Part Time Nights available 2 shifts per week
  • 7:00pm - 7:00am
  • Alternate weekends are needed for this position

Take a look at our pay rates:

  • Weeknights: £ per hour (Approx. £162 per 12-hour shift)
  • Weekends: £ per hour (Approx. £168 per 12-hour shift)
  • Bank Holiday: £ (Approx. £204 per 12-hour shift)
