Job Summary

Apollo Home Healthcare Ltd is seeking an experienced and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users in their own homes.

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and caring individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional care and making a positive impact on people's lives. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will be responsible for providing personal care, repositioning, and attending to the clinical needs of our service users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality personal care and support to service users
  • Reposition and move service users safely and efficiently
  • Administer medication and attend to clinical needs
  • Build positive relationships with service users and their families
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to deliver exceptional care

Requirements

  • 3 months previous care experience
  • Personal Care
  • Moving and Handling
  • Medication Administration

Desirable Skills

  • Epilepsy Management
  • Nebuliser care
  • Ventilation management
  • Gastrostomy feeds (PEG)

Working Hours

  • Part Time Nights available 2 shifts per week
  • 7:00pm - 7:00am
  • Alternate weekends are needed for this position

Pay Rates

  • Weeknights: £13.50 per hour (Approx. £162 per 12-hour shift)
  • Weekends: £14.00 per hour (Approx. £168 per 12-hour shift)
  • Bank Holiday: £17.00ph (Approx. £204 per 12-hour shift)
