About the Role

Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality care and support to our service users in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to service users, including assistance with daily living activities, mobility, and medication administration.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each service user.
  • Ensure the highest standards of care and dignity are maintained at all times, respecting the autonomy and privacy of each service user.
  • Communicate effectively with service users, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in complex care.

Requirements

  • 3 months previous care experience, including personal care, moving and handling, and medication administration.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and quality care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users and their families.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends, to meet the needs of our service users.
