Are you passionate about veterinary medicine and looking for a challenging role in disease investigation? We are seeking an Agricultural Investigation Officer to join our Disease Investigation Hub teams in Scotland and Europe.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of veterinary medicine, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A competitive salary of £55,000 - £75,000 per annum, dependent on experience, will be offered to the successful candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • Investigate animal disease outbreaks and identify causes.
  • Collaborate with farmers and industry partners to develop disease prevention strategies.
  • Conduct fieldwork and collect data and samples to inform disease investigation and research.
  • Develop and implement new approaches to disease diagnosis and management.

Essential Requirements:

  • Veterinary degree or equivalent qualifications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
