Livestock Disease Specialist

We are looking for a skilled Livestock Disease Specialist or Data Analytics Officer to join our team at Scotland's Rural College (SRUC). This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the education of undergraduates within the School of Veterinary Medicine and assist with commercial consultancy activities, including the Premium Cattle Health Scheme.
About the JobThe successful candidate will have a strong background in farm animal practice and excellent analytical skills. They will be responsible for investigating unusual outbreaks of farm animal disease and contributing to the education of undergraduates.
Responsibilities:- Contribute to the Animal Health & Welfare Management Programme.
- Provide expert advice to veterinary surgeons and farmers on the management of livestock diseases.
- Demonstrable experience in progressive farm animal practice.
- Postgraduate study in a given species or related subject preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Current UK driving license.
