We are seeking a Livestock Health Specialist to join our Disease Investigation Hub teams in Scotland and Europe. As a key member of our team, you will investigate animal disease outbreaks, collaborate with farmers and industry partners, and develop innovative solutions for sustainable livestock production.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of veterinary medicine, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A competitive salary of £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, dependent on experience, will be offered to the successful candidate.

Job Description:

  • Investigate animal disease outbreaks and identify causes.
  • Collaborate with farmers and industry partners to develop disease prevention strategies.
  • Conduct fieldwork and collect data and samples to inform disease investigation and research.
  • Develop and implement new approaches to disease diagnosis and management.

Key Requirements:

  • Veterinary degree or equivalent qualifications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
