Job Title: Head of Young Children's Services

We are seeking a qualified and experienced educational leader to oversee the care and education of young children in our Chelmsford, Essex setting.

The ideal candidate will possess a degree or higher in Early Years Education and at least 2 years' experience in leading a team. They will be responsible for developing and implementing high-quality teaching strategies that drive improvement and excellence across the setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the care and education of young children with a focus on safeguarding and child protection.
  • Ensure the learning environment is effective in delivering the curriculum and maximising impact on children's outcomes.
  • Develop and implement specialist support for children with special educational needs (SEN) and lead on SENCO duties.
  • Maintain strong relationships with local authorities, regulatory bodies, and other agencies to ensure compliance and collaboration.
Salary and Benefits:
  • A permanent contract with ASAP start.
  • 40 hours per week, £38,000 - £42,000 per annum salary.
