Academics Ltd is seeking an experienced Early Years Practitioner to lead our team as a Head of Early Years in Chelmsford, Essex.
Job OverviewThis permanent contract offers an ASAP start, working 40 hours per week. The salary range is £34-£40K per annum, with opportunities for professional growth and development.
Responsibilities- Lead the care and education across the setting, ensuring a high-quality learning environment that delivers the curriculum effectively.
- Oversee teaching and learning, maximizing impact on children's outcomes.
- Serve as the SENCO for the setting, leading all aspects of the role.
- Maintain professional relationships with relevant Local Authority Departments, regulatory bodies, and other agencies.
We seek a qualified Early Years Practitioner with at least 2 years' experience in leading a team, who can build meaningful relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Level 6 or 7 qualification or above.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively with the nursery manager.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
