We are seeking an experienced social worker to join our team in Devon, working with disabled children and young people. Our service is responsible for managing statutory duties, providing high support alongside high challenge to achieve the best outcomes.


As a key member of our team, you will work creatively to promote positive long-term change, modelling high-standard social work practice and championing restorative approaches. You will be an advocate for the children and young people, ensuring each child feels fully supported.


You will have significant experience of working within social care, including multi-agency and court environments. A strong working knowledge of legislation, models, and theories relevant to children's social work is essential. You will also need to build effective professional relationships with children, families, and other professionals.

About the Role


This role is perfect for an experienced social worker who is passionate about working with children and families. As an experienced social worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality assessments, regular purposeful visits, and access to the help and support needed by children and young people.


Your Skills and Qualifications



  • A Social Work qualification and registered with Social Work England.
  • Significant experience of working within social care, including multi-agency and court environments.
  • The ability to build effective professional relationships with children, families, and other professionals.
  • Strong working knowledge and understanding of the legislation, models, and theories relevant to children's social work.
