Diabetes Nurse Specialist

**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Registered Nurse with a specialist interest in Diabetes to join our Community Nursing Service in Bedfordshire.
Key Responsibilities- Support the education and promotion of self-management, including the review of current insulin regimes and possible onward referral for diabetes management.
- Lead and develop patients and teams to deliver self-care in the management of diabetes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve real improvements in outcomes for patients.
**Required Qualifications and Experience**
- Level 1 RN / BSc Hons Degree
- NMC registration
- DESMOND trained and accredited or willingness to undertake training and accreditation.
- Evidence of continuing professional development in Diabetes management
**Salary and Benefits**
The estimated salary for this role is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including access to a car for work and a flexible approach to working hours.
