Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets through effective utilisation of Key Account Management (KAM) behaviours and ways of working. This will involve implementing sales, marketing, and market access strategies to maintain and expand sales across the UK/I region.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an excellent knowledge of the local health economy environment and national healthcare drivers/policies
  • Ensure high levels of local intelligence to uncover opportunities
  • Develop and execute specific commercial strategies with cross-functional resources
  • Secure product listings on relevant formularies and protocols at hospitals and APC level
  • Influence clinical managers and budget holders to secure agreement for product funding and positioning within the local health economy
  • Enhance patient care and achieve business objectives through cohesive clinical-commercial discussions
  • Manage assigned budget efficiently to drive sales and optimise ROI

Requirements:

  • Previous credible hospital sales experience with good working knowledge of local primary/secondary care approval processes and protocol development
  • Demonstrable KAM ability and analytical analysis skills
  • Highly competent in business acumen, sound Pharma and NHS knowledge
  • Dynamic, commercially aware, action-focused, accountable, and confident in the value that Pharma brings to patients
  • Ability to continually improve, seek coaching, and challenge the status quo
  • Positive and energetic attitude with a can-do approach
