Specialist Pharmacist for Rare Diseases

As a Specialist Pharmacist for Rare Diseases, you will play a crucial role in providing expert care to patients with rare conditions. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership skills, expertise in immunosuppressant and disease-modifying drug therapy, and excellent communication skills.
About the RoleThis is a full-time post that involves participating in on-call, weekend, bank holiday, and late-night duty rotas. You will be responsible for leading a team in the provision of out-patient pharmacy services, developing clinical pharmacy services, and collaborating with specialist teams.
About UsLondon North West University Healthcare NHS Trust is a university teaching NHS trust that provides comprehensive pharmaceutical services across its sites, including in-patient and out-patient services, a well-respected clinical pharmacy service, and a Medicines Information centre integrated into the Regional Medicines Information Centre.

You will need to be a GPhC registered pharmacist with a diploma in General Pharmacy Practice or equivalent and broad hospital-based experience. The salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
