About the Role

BioTalent is partnering with a leading pharmaceutical company to hire a Medical Director for Rare Diseases based in the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to drive safety and risk management strategies in rare disease programs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement safety surveillance plans for rare disease programs.
  • Conduct benefit-risk assessments and contribute to regulatory submissions, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain high safety standards.
  • Represent safety interests in key decision-making forums.
Qualifications
  • A medical degree with a proven track record of clinical experience and sound medical judgment.
  • A strong background in clinical development or pharmacovigilance, ideally in rare diseases.
  • Experience with regulatory submissions (FDA/EMA) or working within regulatory agencies.

The estimated salary for this position is approximately £95,000 - £115,000 per year, depending on your experience. We look forward to receiving your application.
