About the Role:
Optimal Maintenance Ltd is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team in London. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless execution of every maintenance task and project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough property inspections to identify maintenance requirements and potential issues.
- Perform scheduled repairs and maintenance tasks promptly and efficiently.
- Respond to emergency callouts and address urgent maintenance issues.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and other maintenance-related problems.
- Utilise specialised tools and equipment to carry out repairs and installations effectively.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work.
- Communicate effectively with clients and provide updates on maintenance progress.
Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in the construction trade.
- Proficient in basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and joinery skills.
- Holder of a DBS Certificate/check.
- Demonstrating skills in diagnosing and conducting on-site repairs, sourcing materials, and maintaining high standards of work.
- Reliable and dedicated to delivering work of the highest standard consistently.
- Ability to confidently quote and win work.
- Proficient in using smartphone.
