Job Title: Property Maintenance Estimator

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Property Maintenance Estimator to join our team at Optimal Maintenance Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our company's growth by providing accurate and timely quotations to clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop detailed quotes based on engineer reports, ensuring all necessary information is included.
  • Ensure quotations are sent within 24 hours of attendance, maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure quotes have step-by-step descriptions, enabling clients and engineers to understand the required steps for job completion.
  • Report daily on the number and value of quotes sent, providing valuable insights for business growth.
  • Chase sub-contractors for reports and quotations on a daily basis, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Address queries related to quotations, providing clear and concise information to clients.
  • Chase quotations to gain feedback and update eWorks accordingly, ensuring seamless communication.
  • Answer phone calls in a professional manner, providing excellent customer service.
  • Ensure engineers are booked to attend quotations with the right skill-set and correct geographical location, optimizing job efficiency.
  • Assist with Project Management of jobs, contributing to the overall success of our operations.
Requirements:
  • Experience working within a property maintenance company is ideal.
  • Understanding of various building issues, construction types, and methods of repair is essential.
  • Ability to produce estimates relating to remedial works, with training provided as needed.
  • Computer/technology literacy, with experience using Microsoft 365.
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks under pressure.
  • Great attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Good recall and memory of ongoing jobs, ensuring seamless project management.
  • Quick learner, eager to learn and grow within our company.
