We offer a professional service covering all types of property maintenance, from minor repairs to full property refurbishments. Our team of experienced professionals is equipped to handle any maintenance task, ensuring that properties receive the care they deserve.
Job Title: Maintenance EngineerWe are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting thorough property inspections, performing scheduled repairs and maintenance tasks, and responding to emergency callouts.
You will work closely with our clients to understand their maintenance needs and provide accurate quotes for work. Your expertise in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and other maintenance-related areas will be essential in diagnosing and troubleshooting problems, and providing high-quality solutions.
We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including a 50% split on labour jobs and £40 per hour rate for call-out jobs. You will also have the option of a company van and comprehensive Van Insurance and Public Liability Insurance coverage.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough property inspections to identify maintenance requirements and potential issues
- Perform scheduled repairs and maintenance tasks promptly and efficiently
- Respond to emergency callouts and address urgent maintenance issues
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and other maintenance-related problems
- Utilise specialised tools and equipment to carry out repairs and installations effectively
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work
- Communicate effectively with clients and provide updates on maintenance progress
- Minimum 7 years of experience in the construction trade
- Proficient in basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and joinery skills
- Holder of a DBS Certificate/check
- Demonstrating skills in diagnosing and conducting on-site repairs, sourcing materials, and maintaining high standards of work
- Reliable and dedicated to delivering work of the highest standard consistently
- Ability to confidently quote and win work
- Proficient in using smartphone
