About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Service Management Practice Analyst to join our team at the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency. As an ITSM Practice Analyst, you will be responsible for performing underpinning process tasks and activities involved in the day-to-day operation of all ITSM practices and functions for the services within your team's tower.

Key Responsibilities

  • Applying industry best practice knowledge and experience in ITSM practices and functions to perform underpinning process tasks and activities.
  • Contributing to the continual improvement of the overall practices through identifying process optimisation opportunities and assisting in the delivery of solutions.
  • Taking ownership and adopting a proactive mindset in your approach to all practice work, ensuring that underpinning process tasks and activities are ultimately adding value.
  • Engaging with stakeholders for underpinning tasks and activities proactively and directly.
  • Understanding core technical concepts sufficiently to facilitate and contribute to conversations with technical teams and undertaking ITSM practice activities effectively using technical information.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with a passion for ITSM and a dynamic, innovative approach. You will need to possess a good level of industry best practice knowledge and experience in ITSM practices and functions. You should be able to communicate well and build positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including engineering teams. A curious mind with an interest in problem-solving and improving processes or ways of working is also essential.
