Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Quality Manager to join our team at SCIENCE RECRUITMENT UK LTD in the North Lancashire area.

About the Role

This permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a multinational materials manufacturer.

Key Accountabilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing the company's Quality & Environmental program.
  • Enhancing manufacturing processes through internal audits and lean/six sigma methodologies.
  • Ensuring risk and COSHH assessment compliance.
  • Leading the quality team and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Supporting the management of ISO 9001 and 14001 standards and environmental permits.

Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A strong quality background in manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards.
  • Health and Safety certifications like NEBOSH or higher.
  • Knowledge of internal auditing and continuous improvement principles.
  • Experience in supervising, training, and mentoring QA and Laboratory staff.
